Well, I participated in Rough Trade’s NaNo, and I actually charted it on NaNoWriMo, so I feel like I really accomplished something. I’ll be moving that story, “I Have Not Forsaken You”, on this site before the New Year.
I’m also working on a story for a Quantum Bang, and I’m feeling pretty good about it. I’ve never done a Big Bang story before, and I look forward to seeing how it’ll turn out. Of course, I look forward to seeing how any of my stories turn out. When I plot, I write all these little notes and plot points in a notebook, and I try very hard to stick to them. Often, I’ll find myself jumping ahead of my notes or rearranging the order of events, only because once I start typing, the story takes on its own life.
I have other projects plotted out, and a few that need reworking. There are still two WIPs on AO3 that I need to finish and post here, but I got off track with them some time ago, and I need to get back in that headspace. But I’m writing now, almost every day. Even if it’s only a little bit, it’s something and it’s more than I was doing before.
Cool! Accomplishing one’s goals is always a good thing.
